Fundess Celebrates the Opening of Its Frankfurt Office

An Evening to Remember.

On 22 October 2026, we celebrated the opening of our new Frankfurt office together with our clients, partners and friends of Fundess. The evening was everything we had hoped for: an opportunity for meaningful conversations, new connections and shared excitement about what lies ahead.

A Milestone in Fundess’ Journey

Fundess was founded in Munich on the belief that innovative companies need a partner who not only understands their research and development activities but also helps make them financially viable. What began as an idea has grown into a team of more than 40 experts across six disciplines, serving over 150 clients.

The Rhine-Main region is one of Europe’s leading economic and financial centres, home to a strong concentration of innovative companies in technology, life sciences, financial services and industry. This is exactly where we want to be: close to our clients and to the decisions that drive innovation forward.

The opening event brought together the people at the heart of Fundess: those who research, develop and create innovation, alongside the partners who support them along the way.

At the opening, Dr Rosi Hermann and Dr Matthias Sattler shared insights into the company’s development and outlined their vision for the years ahead. One message stood out: public funding for research and development is a strategic instrument. Companies that integrate it into their financing strategy from the outset can scale faster and build more resilient growth.

Following the formal proceedings, guests took the opportunity to connect in person, exchange ideas about current projects and discuss the road ahead. The evening concluded in a relaxed atmosphere, with a toast to a future we look forward to shaping together.

With our new office at Schifferstraße 12, Fundess now has a presence in two of Germany’s most important economic centres. For our clients, this means having a dedicated point of contact even closer to home. For Fundess, it marks the next logical step in a journey that is far from over.
