Your Responsibilities
Support the advisory of companies on eligible R&D and innovation projects, with a particular focus on R&D tax incentives, including the German R&D Tax Incentive and national and EU funding programmes
Contribute to the structuring, preparation and documentation of innovation and R&D projects in a robust and audit-ready manner
Prepare and quality-assure applications, project descriptions, cost plans and work plans
Work closely with clients, tax advisors, auditors and funding authorities
Support clients throughout the entire project lifecycle – from the initial project idea through application, submission and review
Contribute to the development of strategic funding and financing roadmaps for our clients
Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes, methodologies and knowledge resources
In this role, you will work closely with experienced consultants and the Team Lead, gradually developing the skills and expertise required to advise clients independently. You will support the analysis, structuring and documentation of R&D and innovation projects and systematically develop towards taking on your own client responsibilities. A particular focus of your role will be on the scientifically sound and compelling description of R&D projects, for example in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, medical technology (MedTech) and related life science fields.
What you ideally bring:
Completed degree in natural sciences or life sciences, e.g. biology, chemistry, physics, biochemistry, biotechnology or life sciences
Initial practical experience gained through internships, working student positions, a thesis or first professional experience in funding advisory, innovation, strategy or management consulting, or in an R&D-related environment
Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to both problem-solving and written communication
High willingness to learn, reliability and a strong attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and a genuine interest in working closely with clients
Very good German and good English language skills
